April 2010 Buyer Closing
Curtin Call - I would do it again with Toni Curtin. I had 30 days to find a house, move to Atlanta and start a new job. And she did it !! We reviewed several lists of houses for sale, short sales and foreclosures. She taught me the pros and cons of each. We saw about 15 houses in 2 days. And we had a great time doing it. Toni is not only knowledgable of her business, but she made the time searching enjoyable. And when the deadline was on the doorstep, she was right on top of things to get the job done in time. I moved in 3 days before starting my new job, just as I had planned. I highly recommend Toni Curtin and if the need arises again, I will definitely turn to her.

September 2009 CLOSING
Toni is the BEST! She is a perfect realtor - enthusiastic, friendly, knowledgeable and diligent. We were referred to her after a horrid experience with a different realtor, and we were blown away by her. She jumped in with incredible enthusiasm - scheduling showings for the next available day. During our house hunt, she must have researched at least 60 homes for us, and she showed us over 20. We could tell that she really cared that we got the perfect house, and she would work with us until that was accomplished. Toni is an extremely knowledgeable realtor. She definitely knows her stuff! Because she knew the area so well, she could describe each subdivision, tell us about the different area schools, and point out recreation facilities close to the homes we were viewing. But most importantly, Toni listened to us. She made it a point to understand exactly what we were looking for. She truly wanted to find the right house for us. At the end of our journey, we not only found the perfect house, but we found a friend too. We highly, HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

My husband, 3 small children and myself relocated to North Georgia from Northern Virginia in October 2008. We were given Toni's name from another Re max associate. Her name was chosen because she was a top seller for re max and won many awards. It's always tough going into unknown territory, but we did with Toni and we never had a regret. She was professional, knowledgeable and treated us like friends from the first conversation. She was sensitive to the fact that we were a family with 3 young children (even offering to baby sit). She listened to what WE wanted and when we found the house of our dreams, she did everything in her power to make sure that we were heard, we were educated and we were competitive.
The house we desperately wanted, was not finished, and was about to go into foreclosure. The situation, at times, looked hopeless... but Toni always stayed positive and never gave up on trying to get us in to our dream house. She put us in touch with the builder, the property management, the superintendent. She made sure that we were kept in the loop at every step of the negotiations and with every milestone we met, she would celebrate right along with us.
We moved in to the house June 2009. It was a finished house, we bought it from the builder and got a GREAT deal. We could not be happier with our experience with Toni and I would (and have) recommend her to anyone looking within the area, new or established residents.
Thank you Toni for all that you did for us and for making a very difficult 8 months as hopeful as possible.

Toni is a very special person to work with when selling a house. As an out-of-town owner, I knew that I could count on her to keep the process moving. When we put in upgrades to get the house ready for sale, Toni coordinated the work. Anyone who has sold a house knows that negotiating with a buyer can cause anxious moments for the seller. Toni was on top of that and she kept us informed. And she handled the last minute surprises that always seem to occur during the closing. Toni is such a pleasant person to work with and I would not hesitate to recommend her to any seller or buyer.

Why Toni Curtin? I'll tell you why we chose her. As a neighbor in our same subdivision, Brook Forest, my husband and I thought there would be no one else out there who would genuinely WANT our house to sell for more than the almighty dollar reason. All agents work for their pocketbook, and who doesn't? But here was someone who we thought had a sincere REASON to WANT our house to sell. After all , her personal real estate ownership was in the same subdivision, so we figured she would work harder. She had a personal interest in this--to keep her own property value up--we concluded. We just couldn't even explore another agent. Toni just seemed to be THE ANSWER every time we discussed who to list with. What other agent, with her experience and availability, would actually see her listing sign every time she drove home and every time she left her home? We figured the constant reminder of her own listing sign would want to make her move our property just that much faster. And we couldn't have asked for any faster. My goodness. The first person that saw the property asked for a contingency, which we turned down since they didn't even have their own property on the market. Then, before we knew it, a true offer came in from someone else but we could not come to a meeting of the minds. The third offer was a charm and we had ourselves a contract in two weeks time!!!
When Toni first came over to discuss a listing with us, she made her recommendations for improvements. All of them were exactly what we were already planning except for one. There is absolutely NO doubt in my mind that that one recommendation was the one that clinched the sale. And without her expertise, we had no idea how we were going to fix it. We took her advice, only a fool wouldn't, and we did it. How can you question an expert?
We didn't and we were very pleased with her.
We'd recommend her in a second, no questions asked.
